Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to the 1982 cult classic Blade Runner. Picking up thirty years after the original, the sequel has LAPD Officer K, played by Ryan Gosling on a search for Deckard (Harrison Ford) after a discovery into an investigation.
The film is directed by Denise Villeneuve who has a solid resume with films like Arrival and Sicario. The trailer is some of the best work visually to have come this year. The man behind the camera is none other than Roger Deakins whose experience and brilliance can be clearly seen in the breathtaking shots. Deakins beautifully captures the stunning golds and the cold blues with his lens.
The trailer is light on plot but does give a few more details about the film one of them being Jared Leto‘s character who does look like the antagonist.
