Wonder Woman Takes On Ares In New TV Spots

Just a little over a month more and Wonder Woman will be finally up on the big screen for us to watch. As it tends to happen in these final few days, the studio pushes the paddle on the marketing accelerator which means more TV spots, banners, etc.

Warner Bros. has begun that push by releasing three new TV spots, each about thirty seconds long which also contain a lot of new footage. Diana springs into action taking on General Ludendorff played by Danny Huston. In a split second frame, we also get to see Diana taking on the film’s big baddie Ares, the god of war. There is also more interaction between Steve and Diana which is adorable to watch.

Wonder Woman is directed by Monster director Patty Jenkins with a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg.

The film also stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui.

Wonder Woman opens in theatres on June 2, 2017.

“Wonder Woman” hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
