Watch The Magical Final Trailer For ‘Beauty And The Beast’

Disney has released the final trailer for the upcoming live-action rendition of Beauty And The Beast. The film stars Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as Prince Adam aka The Beast.

The final trailer gives the overall sense of the plot (in case you weren’t familiar with the story) and a little more peek into the characters of the film. We see a little bit of the truly handsome but despicable villain Gaston (played by Luke Evans) as he praises himself while looking into a mirror. Pure villainy right there! As the trailer continues we get a line or two out of the vast supporting cast which includes the characters Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs Potts, and more. There’s also a little peek at the bumbling LeFou portrayed by Josh Gad.

But the best part of the trailer comes towards the end as the music swells up to, what else, Beauty And The Beast! The song was performed by none other than Angela Lansbury in the film and a single was released by Disney sung by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson. The song won multiple awards including a Golden Globe, and an Oscar. This time it is Ariana Grande and John Legend who have recorded the song, and I must say, they’ve done a really great job.

Filling the supporting roles are Kevin Kline as Maurice (Belle’s father), Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette.

Beauty And The Beast will release worldwide on March 17, 2017.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for the film:

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
