‘Logan’ Trailer 2 Gets All Violent And Gory

After a long long wait, we finally have the final trailer for Logan. The film takes place in the near future where we see our protagonist has grown old and his regenerative powers have slowed down. The world has become hell for mutants. All allies are gone except Professor X played by Patrick Stewart who himself looks weary.

Compared to the last trailer, this one is more action packed getting all violent and gory. We also see more of Dafne Keen‘s X-23 in action. Boy, she is one mutant id you definitely don’t want to piss off. Just like the first one, this trailer too carries a more mature tone with themes of family bonding packaged at the backend which will serve as a backbone to the whole narrative. It seems like Mangold and team have crafted a great send-off for Hugh Jackman who’ll be playing this character one last time (not counting a future Deadpool 2 cameo).

James Mangold returns to direct the film following the successful 2014 The Wolverine. The film also stars Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, and Elizabeth Rodriguez.

Logan will hit the big screen on March 3, 2017.

Read the official plot synopsis for the film below:

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border.

But Logan’s attempt to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
