‘Despicable Me 3’ Trailer : Gru And His Minions Are Back!

How long has it been since the last Minions movie? Just a year? They’ve been away for long then! Illumination has released the official trailer for Despicable Me 3. Gru, Lucy, Margo, Edith and Agnes are all back for another adventure with the little yellow minions.

The film franchise has been a modern marketing blitzkrieg ever since it started in 2010. With just three films in so far, the franchise has made a combined $2.6 billion worldwide at the box-office of which Minions (2015) alone made well over a billion. In short, we all love the minions.

The trailer is basically one long sequence where Gru and Lucy are on a mission to catch the new villain Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker) who has a knack for Michael Jackson and dancing. It is a little surprising to see that the studio chose to hold out the minions right up till the end of the trailer where we get a glimpse of Stuart and Bob DJing at a beach party.
