‘Transformers The Last Knight’ Trailer Looks Gritty And Mythological

Paramount has released the teaser trailer for the next chapter in the Transformers franchise, Transformers: The Last Knight. The film will continue the saga from Age of Extinction with Mark Wahlberg as the human lead.

Like with all Transformer films that preceded it, The Last Knight too has a very well cut and interesting trailer. Anthony Hopkins lends his voice to the trailer which spans centuries of human history since the medieval times. The initial part of the trailer has a certain Arthurian legend feel to it as it slowly progresses into modern day robot on robot action.

The film series is notorious for putting out films that don’t do very well critically and poor audience feedback in spite of all the box-office prowess it commands. As usual, I’m hopeful that this will be the Transformers movie we’ve all been waiting for a long long time and that Bay will finally do justice to the franchise.

Micheal Bay once again returns to direct with the script written by Matt Holloway , Art Marcum, and Ken Nolan.

The film also stars Laura HaddockStanley Tucci, Jerrod Carmichael, John Goodman, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner, Gil Birmingham, and Jean Dujardin.

Transformers: The Last Knight arrives in theatres on June 23, 2017.
