Baby Groot Steals The Show In ‘Guardians of The Galaxy 2’ Teaser Trailer

After months and months of waiting Marvel has released the first official trailer for Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 2. The film is a sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy that was a gigantic hit in 2014. It has been said the sequel will continue to explore the mystery of Star Lord’s father.

Marvel has been long enough in the business now that they know exactly what to sell to the audience to hook them up. Groot and Rocket were the breakout characters from the first ensemble and the trailer focuses shines a light back on their dynamic partnership. Just by seeing the trailer it is easy to assert that Baby Groot will again be the standout character.

We also see the rest of the crew returning especially during a  hilarious moment at the end of the trailer. Characters like Yondu and Nebula still have to wait (though we got a good glimpse of them in the teaser).Overall it is it visually dynamic, the colours pop out in a much better sense and the humour is on point as always.

James Gunn returns to direct the sequel along with Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, and Karen Gillan returning.

Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Chris Sullivan as Taserface, and Kurt Russell as Ego join the cast.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 2 opens in theaters on May 5, 2017.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
