Rogue One is in its last leg of marketing. The film will be the first of the Star Wars anthology films and act as a prequel to Star Wars: A New Hope (1977), the film that started it all. Rogue One follows the band of that stole the Death Star’s plans in the original film. The band is led by Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) whose father (Mads Mikkelsen) has bee forced by the Empire to build the Death Star.
The anthology film has always been described as a war film, and whatever we’ve seen so far from the marketing, justifies that label. In the recently released featurette director Gareth Edwards and the cast talk about how special it is to be in a Star Wars film. The franchise has been an important part of many people’s childhood who grew up in the 70s and 80s and this can be clearly felt by the way they talk in the clip below.
If you’re here for some new pieces of footage, then you’ve come to the right place as the featurette contains it in loads.
