It’s gonna be FUN!
In case you didn’t know, production on DC’s next superhero film The Justice League had wrapped up in London recently. Just a few days back news reports had flooded the internet with reports about the wrap up party. Actor Jason Momoa took to Instagram to announce that he wouldn’t be able to make it for the party as he heads out to Iceland.
Now let’s be completely honest here. We all know Snyder and team are under tremendous pressure to perform well post Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad. Thought the films were giant box-office successes they didn’t really sit well with critics and fans alike. We also reports of all behind the scenes drama that took place which on added more bad press to the young DC Universe. However with Justice League they seem to change all that.
We’ve heard time and again that the film will be significantly lighter, bloggers were invited on the set and were allowed to release their reports way earlier than usual. Moreover, Warner Bros. releasing the footage from Comic Con which was certainly lighter in vain feeds well into this narrative.
This behind the scenes footage is doing exactly that. You see the actors having a fun time throughout the shoot. The cast and crew playing around, a badass Aquaman playing with Diana’s sword. There are even some amazing shots of Batman using the grapple gun and jumping around in a crouched position.
What more could one ask for? Justice League isn’t even the next DC release, Wonder Woman is! Warner Bros knows that they need all the goodwill they can get as they catch up to Marvel who are now 8 years deep in to their shared universe as the giants battle it out with more and more superhero content in the next few years.
