Here’s The First Action Packed Trailer For ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’

All things must come to an end. You know what else would be ending? The Resident Evil Franchise. The first international trailer for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter has been released online. The film, as the title suggests will be concluded the long running series.

The trailer is fairly straight forward. You get Alice (Milla Jovovich) return to Raccoon City while the trailer cuts to clips from the previous films of the franchise. It then cuts back to the present timeline, and as it is with international trailers these days… BOOM! More face paced action and explosions.

Director, writer & producer Paul W. S. Anderson returns to the franchise for the fourth time. It is only justified that the man who started the series will end it.

The cast also includes Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Australian actress Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James, and Japanese model and TV personality, Rola.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will hit the big screen on January 27, 2017.

Here’s a synopsis for the film:

Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between regaining her superhuman abilities at Wesker’s hand and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.
