‘Doctor Strange’ Trailer 2 Promises A Very Trippy Movie

We are still in the middle of San Diego Comic Con and the number of trailers that drop just keeps upping every moment. Yesterday, Warner Bros. pretty much owned Comic Con with the release of footage for their next three movies in the line. However, if you are a fan of the Marvel camp, worry not, they have something great in store for you too!

The studio has released the second trailer for their upcoming release, Doctor Strange. The film follows Stephen Strange, a New York neurosurgeon who, after a tragic car accident, has his hands paralysed. On a quest to restore himself to full health, Strange travels around the world until he learns that there is more than what meets the eye.

The first Doctor Strange trailer played out like a mystery sci-fi thriller. And you remember the Inception-esque folding at the end of that trailer? The latest trailer doubles down on that aspect to the point it is a full blown psychedelic trip.

The trailer also introduces us to the rest of the cast and the specifics of the level of mysticism Strange will be delving into. After a successful run of 8 years, Doctor Strange feels the appropriate step up in the Marvel Universe in terms of character, story and risk that I was waiting for. Are you excited for the film? Doctor Strange opens in theaters on November 4, 2016.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
