The Comic Con Trailer for Wonder Woman Is Here!

After existing in the comics and various other media for 75 years, Wonder Woman will be finally having her solo film. And Warner Bros. has just released the first trailer for it at San Diego Comic Con today.

The film will focus on the origin of the most iconic female superhero who has been living on an island far from man’s world for 5000 years. The amazonian princess is then drawn to man’s world when American pilot crashes on her shores. Diana, must now leave her home and fight alongside man to end all wars, but what impact will it have on her?

The film is directed by Monster director Patty Jenkins with a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg.

The film stars Gal Gadot,Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui.

Wonder Woman is set to hit theaters on June 2, 2016.

“Wonder Woman” hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
