New Deadshot And Harley Quinn Promos For Suicide Squad Hit The Web

Warner Bros. is marketing Suicide Squad pretty hard as the release is getting closer. We are promised that the whole cast will be present at the panel at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. So we expect some big news to drop from there (last year at WB’s panel we got the sizzle reel).

As we wait for Saturday, the studio has released two more character promos for the film. We already had one for Viola Davis’ character Amanda Waller. The new one’s are focused on two star players of the squad Deadshot and Harley Quinn.

If anyone had doubts that Smith will play Will Smith and not Deadshot, your worries can be put to rest. Smith completely transforms himself into the best marksman of the DC Universe while retaining the charm we know and love Smith for. The second promo for Harley shows how crazy and funny the former Arkham Psychiatrist is. Like Cap in The Winter Soldier, Harley gets her own ‘beat up in an elevator’ scene with Robbie perfectly embodying the craziness and innocence of the character,

Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters on August 5, 2016.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:
It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super-Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
