Watch the American Dream Getting Corrupt in ‘War Dogs’ Trailer 2

Warner Bros. have released the second trailer for their upcoming release War Dogs. Based on a true story the film stars Jonah Hill and Miles Teller as two young men who win a $300 million contract from the US Government to supply arms in the war-torn Afghanistan in the 2000s.

The trailer is very reminiscent of Martin Scorsese‘s The Wolf of Wall Street and the comedic edge it has is largely due to its director Todd Phillips (The Hangover Trilogy). Also another interesting part about it is the team up of The Hangover alumni Phillips and Bradley Cooper who plays a supporting character.

The incredibly wacky trailer makes it too difficult to pass up when the film will finally hit the theaters this August. What do you think about War Dogs? Let us know in the comments below.

War Dogs opens in theaters on August 19, 2016.

Read the official synopsis below:

“War Dogs” follows two friends in their early 20s (Hill and Teller) living in Miami Beach during the Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts. Starting small, they begin raking in big money and are living the high life. But the pair gets in over their heads when they land a 300 million dollar deal to arm the Afghan Military—a deal that puts them in business with some very shady people, not the least of which turns out to be the U.S. Government.
