20th Century Fox has released a new international trailer for its upcoming video game adaptation of Assassin’s Creed. The film is based on the highly successful Ubisoft video game series of the same name.
Michael Fassbender stars as Callum Lynch, a man who learns that he us a descendant of a 15th century Spanish swordsman named Aguilar and is a part of a secret society called the Assassins.
The international trailer is basically a shorter version of the official trailer that was released back in May. The edit makes it the trailer more streamlined and focused on action, a strategy adopted to appeal to the foreign market.
The trailer also removes parts of Kanye West’s song “I Am A God” which fans found too annoying, so much so that they had to fix the trailer.
