‘Lights Out’ Trailer 2 Will Make You Afraid Of The Dark

Fear of the dark and the unknown is one of the most basic and primal fears. In the darkness, your mind can conjure up the most deadliest scares and this is what Lights Out will be taking full advantage of.

New Line has released the second trailer for their next major horror release. The story follows siblings who experience hauntings when the lights go out. Turns out the elder sister Rebecca, first experienced this as a child and now her brother Martin is experiencing it as well.

The hauntings have something to do with a young female called Diana, who is attached to the siblings’ mother.

Director David F. Sandberg, who directed the original short film of the same name which you can view here, marks his Hollywood debut. The film is produced by James Wan whoes name the marketing team is pushing ahead aggressively post the success of The Conjuring 2.

The film stars Teresa Palmer, Gabriel Bateman, Billy Burke, Alexander DiPersia, and Maria Bello.

Lights Out will arrive in theaters on July 22, 2016.
