Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children: New Trailer Shows How A Tim Burton X-Men Movie Would Look

20th Century Fox has released the second trailer for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs.

The film follows Jacob Portman who goes to Wales to learn more about his grandfather’s life after his murder. He finds that his grandfather lived in a derelict orphanage for “peculiar children” where he learns that he too is “peculiar”.

The second trailer gives us a better look at these “peculiar children” and their powers. We also get a good look at the film’s villains and their motives.

The film has the general look and feel of a typical Burton production with the overall look being very close to 2010’s Alice In Wonderland.

With his last few releases, the director has had mixed success. Could this be the big comeback film for the once revered auteur ?
