20th Century Fox has released the teaser for their upcoming sci-fi thriller Morgan. The film plays up the age old horror trope of ‘Man vs Artificial life Form’ seen in some of the big franchises like Terminator, Jurassic Park and The Matrix and classic films like Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey (HAL-9000 anyone ?).
Anya Taylor-Joy stars as the titular character Morgan, is an artificial life form, very human looking except with enhanced strength and intelligence. It is constantly evolving. But with all these enhanced attributes, a key ingredient missing is emotions and morality says the director of the film in an interview with EW.
