Warcraft (2016) Film – TV Spots

Legendary has released new TV Spots for their upcoming film Warcraft. Based on the video game series by Blizzard Entertainment of the same name, the film follows two factions – the humans and Orcs. The Orcs are now leaving their dying home to invade Azeroth, a human settlement. With a war on the brink, the film will show us the heroes from both sides trying to save their civilization.

Like the first trailer, the new TV Spot like the very first trailer feels very much like the Lord of the Rings series in its production design and the way the battles are shot. Director Duncan Jones uses CG to it’s maximum to create the worlds and the giant orcs. The film along with Assassin’s Creed are the two major video game adaptations of the year, which fans hope will be able to usher in the era of good video game adaptions, and Warcraft looks right up for it.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for Warcraft :

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.
