Ben-Hur (2016) Film – Trailer

Paramount have released the first trailer for their upcoming swords and sandals epic Ben-Hur. The film is based on the Lew Wallace novel of the same name and also a remake of the 1959 mega hit starring Charlton Heston. Judah Ben-Hur, a prince living during the time of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem is falsely convicted to treason and is forced into slavery. The film follows his quest for revenge and redemption.

The trailer gives off a more action revenge vibe similar to that of Gladiator which may be off-putting to some viewers who have seen the original classic. The famous chariot race takes a good portion of the trailer which by all means look absolutely fantastic.
